The factory rear bumper of the base Mitsubishi Lancer X sedan looks too ordinary and often doesn't fit the overall look of a tuned car. We created this diffuser for those who want a more dynamic rear end closer to the Lancer Evolution X. We designed an original diffuser—not by cloning the Evolution contours, but by using them as inspiration for its iconic shapes. The dimensions and shapes of the standard rear bumper were fully factored into the design, so the proportions of the 'EVO' diffuser fit perfectly. Also, with zero loss in functionality, the diffuser features a dedicated cover for the tow hook access.

• ☑️ Full compatibility: The rear bumper diffuser is fully compatible with all standard sedan bumpers for the tenth-generation Mitsubishi Lancer and Galant Fortis.
• ☑️ Sedan Only: This rear diffuser is designed specifically for the standard Mitsubishi Lancer 10 sedan. It is not compatible with Sportback (hatchback) versions.
• ☑️ OEM Bumper Only: This diffuser is designed for the factory Mitsubishi Lancer X bumper. Fitment on aftermarket or fiberglass bumpers is not guaranteed.
• ☑️ Professional installation: Due to the need for cutting and precise alignment, we strongly recommend professional installation of the diffuser at a body shop.
• ⚠️ Evolution & Ralliart: This rear diffuser does not fit the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X or Lancer Ralliart models, as these vehicles use different rear bumper geometries.
• ⚠️ Bumper cutout required: The diffuser is not installed as a simple overlay on top of the rear bumper. To ensure proper fitment, the two lower side sections of the factory bumper must be trimmed. Please note that this installation requires irreversible modification of your factory rear bumper.

OEM-Grade Manufacturing
This is an industrial-grade product developed using professional high-precision methods, including 3D scanning and CNC-machined master tooling. This ensures consistent factory-grade geometry and a precise fit for every part. Unlike "homemade" fiberglass parts, our ABS plastic guarantees OEM-level durability and a clean, professional appearance.

Advanced Design
We use a 3 mm thick ABS plastic sheet, which ensures structural rigidity while allowing for sharply defined lines and a sleek appearance. The diffuser features a central protrusion and integrated splitters—these elements act as additional stiffening ribs that reinforce the overall structure.

Durability & Weather Resistance
The material is impact-resistant and does not crack at sub-zero temperatures, ensuring a long service life in harsh conditions. For maximum durability, a paint finish that protects the surface from UV radiation is required.

Surface & Finish
The diffuser is supplied unpainted. Minor surface scratches from the manufacturing process are normal and are easily removed during priming. The product requires professional priming and painting. Use without painting is not recommended, as a paint coat ensures long-term UV protection.

• Expert-Level Task: Although installation involves trimming the rear bumper, it is a straightforward task for any experienced body shop. A professional can easily perform this modification to achieve a perfect, integrated look.
• Precise Modification: To install the diffuser, you need to cut out two symmetrical sections at the bottom of the factory bumper. We recommend using a high-speed cutting tool or a reciprocating saw for a clean, professional edge (see the visual guide in photo #5).
• Measure Twice: Mark the area beforehand and test-fit the diffuser frequently during the process. This step-by-step approach ensures you only remove what is necessary for a flush, seamless fit.
• Pre-Paint Check: Do not paint the diffuser without first fitting it to the body. Ensure the unit sits perfectly against your modified bumper first to avoid any risk of damaging the fresh paint during final mounting.
• Exhaust Clearance: The diffuser is designed for the standard exhaust system. If you have a custom or oversized exhaust, minor trimming may be required to ensure it does not come into contact with hot exhaust components.

• The rear diffuser is supplied unpainted. We do not recommend installing it without professional painting.

• For the best appearance, we recommend painting the diffuser Black ⚫.
• A gloss finish will provide the deepest color but requires more maintenance.
• A satin finish is often considered more practical for a rear diffuser.
• Black provides the necessary contrast and creates greater visual depth for the rear of the car, which is essential for the Lancer X body.

• The diffuser is installed onto the rear bumper using a special black automotive adhesive sealant.
• If desired, you can also use sealing tape; you will need 2 meters (not included).

• Curing Time: For the best and most durable results, do not drive the vehicle at high speeds immediately after installation.
• Wait for Bond: Allow the adhesive sealant to cure fully (typically 24 hours) to reach its maximum strength before exposing the diffuser to heavy wind loads or vibrations.

The "EVO" diffuser is one of the best styling upgrades for the Lancer X, but it requires trimming the factory bumper. If you are not ready for such modifications, we have a classic diffuser that installs as an overlay and requires absolutely no bumper cutting:
